Judging Criteria
- Degree of innovation(30%): How unique is the idea? Does it make people go “wow”? How does it leverage the Volt MX framework? Is the technical design novel? Does it provide a unique solution to a problem that many people have?
- Business Value(25%): Does it provide a solution to a problem that many people have? Impact of the solution: Does it improve the productivity of fellow developers etc? Quantum of value add that the solution brings to the product. Is it improving the consumer experience?
- How practical is it?(20%): Is the idea/solution/app practical enough to be used in the real world? Can it scale enough to accommodate real-world scenarios? Is the architecture technically sound? Is it generic to be applied across domains? How viable is the solution?
- Creativity & Appearance (15%): Is your work creative? Does your app/solution look nice?
- Bonus points(10%): Completeness of the solution. Does it encompass more than one theme? Performance of the solution or app. Reusability of the solution.
